Research for music video

When researching and analyzing the different music video in relation to our genre of music there are various convections that stood out. As mentioned the song all of us came up with to use for this project Getaway Car by Taylor Swift. The genre is pop, in which there are music videos of songs such as Drivers License and Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo. These give us a good insight into how in that category the specific usages of breaking the forth wall in the music videos. Using a lot of tracking and over the shoulders shots as well. In this specific genre of music we need to be drawn to the artist or what the artist is trying to explaining. Almost if not every lyric should be able to match part of the song, a visual representation. It can be as simple as a prop that correlates to the main part of the song, a specific costume that shows value to the character or the makeup that can really capture the emotion the person is trying to showcase.
